A Low Budget – Big Impact Environmental Documentary VIDEO 57 min

The film is divided in two parts:1. nuclear power 2. renewable energy.

1. The former prime minister of Japan - Naoto Kan - tells about the Fukushima accident and its consequences. The Post-Fukushima life of ordinary Japanese is also introduced, the Ajisai-Revolution and Tokyo in 2012.

The Nuclear waste question, new probability of accident studies, accident responsibilities and the secret Japanese-US nuclear arms program is introduced.

2. Renewables: solar, wind, river, waves, geothermal and biomass energy production, the role of energy saving.

The stories of the narrator are based on the most recent scientifical studies and news articles that can be tracked easily.

About the man behind the film:

Jukka Seppälä (born 1961) is a teacher, nature photographer, energy blogger and freelance journalist. He has been photographing nature from late 1970ies, but more professionally from 2006. Seppälä has been active in anti-nuclear, pro renewable energy -movement in 1979 during Three Mile Island nuclear reactor meltdown accident and a few years after that. The accident in Chernobyl 1986 and 2011 in Fukushima reactivated Seppälä to actively search for the most accurate, critical and up to date news and studies about nuclear power and renewable energy. Seppälä started blogging both in Finnish and English to reach wider audience worldwide with his energy related blogs and .

The new possibilities of affordable Digital SLT -cameras capable of recording high quality HD -videos made it possible for Seppälä to add environmental documentaries and nature films to the production alternatives of Creator's Fingerprints in addition to more traditional still photos and slide/multimedia presentations. Seppälä is having a series of nature films on his schedule to be finalized this winter 2012-2013.

Mr. Seppälä has been a member of Suomen Luonnonvalokuvaajat Ry. - The Finnish Nature Photographers Association from 2006.
